Memorial website in the memory of your loved one

Brandi Dawn

This memorial website was  created in the memory of our loved one, Brandi Davis Greenwood, who passed away at the age of 30.  Brandi was not only a beautiful person on the outside, she was beautiful on the inside.  There are not words to describe Brandi.  She was truly one of a kind.  She was so full of life, always happy, always a smile on her sweet face.  Brandi never met a stranger, she could talk to anybody.  She never mistreated anyone.  It didn't matter to Brandi what you had or who you were,  she treated everyone the same.   She touched so many lives, leaving an imprint in so many hearts that will last forever.

Brandi's Story

Brandi's family meant everything to her. She had a daughter, Jazzy Star, who she loved and adored. Brandi and Jazzy were like two peas in a pod. They just fit together. It was always just Brandi and little Jazzy. Then Brandi met Billy Greenwood, who had a son, Trenton. When Brandi and Billy married, it was the start of a happy family. Jazzy gained her "bubba" and Trenton gained his "sissy." When Brandi became pregnant, she was so excited, even though her pregnancy with Jazzy was not a easy one. Brandi developed HELLP Syndrome and was lifeflighted from a local hospital. Jazzy was born premature and Brandi spent days in ICU. Even though there was concern with this pregnancy, Brandi being Brandi, was sure that everything would be OK. She started seeing her OB doctor and everything was going OK until Dec.21st. Brandi was 6 months pregnant. Her blood pressure was elevated and she was hospitalized. Brandi's labwork showed no signs of HELLP Syndrome, she was given IV fluids and steroids. On Dec. 23rd, her doctor decided to let her go home on complete bedrest. Brandi loved Christmas time and all she wanted was to be with her family and watch them open their presents. Late Christmas night, Brandi started having severe pain in her rib area. Her sister, Beth, rushed her to St. Edwards Hospital. On the way to the hospital, Brandi was hurting so bad. She would climb to the back seat then to the front. She was also saying her head was hurting real bad. When she arrived at the Emergency Room her blood pressure was so high it would not register on the machine the first time. On the 2nd attempt her BP reading was 220/120. Immediately, Brandi was transferred to the OB Unit. Within Minutes, Brandi started seizing and became unconscious. The doctors believed she suffered a stroke. They took her for an emergency C-Section. Lucki Shayde was born weighing 1lb 13oz. She was 13 inches long. Brandi never regained consciousness and was not breathing on her own. Brandi never got to see her baby girl. She was placed on a ventilator and was transfered to the ICU. Hours later, Brandi became unresponsive to stimuli and was sent for a CT scan. Only minutes after returning from CT, Brandi's heart stopped. Later we learned she died from a cerebral vascular hemorrhage. Our lives are forever changed and Brandi will be forever missed.

I said, God I hurt
And God said, I know

I said, I cry a lot
And God said, That's why I gave you tears

I said, Life is so hard
And God said, That's why I gave you loved ones

I said, But my loved one died!!
And God said, So did mine!!

I said, It's such a great loss!!
And God said, I saw mine nailed to a cross!!

I said, But  your loved one lives!!
And God said, So does yours!!

I said, Where is she now??
And God said, My son is by my side!
Your Brandi is in my arms!!
